1. Changing your DNS (preferred): Changing your DNS is another method that allows for bulk forwarding. If you want to use this method, set your DNS Servers to:

How many domains do I need?

Hotkeys requirements are strictly on a case by case basis. Upon applying an account manager will review your application and take several factors into consideration before approving your account. We ask that potential clients provide substantial domain portfolio information so that accounts may be approved in a timely fashion. You may have an unlimited number of domains pointing to us at any time. The more domains you have with Hotkeys the more revenue you will be able to generate each day.

What does the service cost?

Is Hotkeys easy to integrate?

Integrating with our system requires no technical knowledge. Our Account Managers will assist you with any issues that may arise with driving traffic to Hotkeys. How much will I earn with Hotkeys?

What is your payout cycle?

Payments are processed on the 15th of every month for the previous month’s earnings

What payment options are available?

We offer payment by PayPal or check. These options can be changed at anytime. It’s best to change the option prior to the end of the month to ensure the proper information is retrieved for the payment, since payments are made by the 15th day of the following month.

What is the minimum payout?

Our minimum balance for payment is $25.00 (USD). Any balances that do not meet this amount are carried over to the next month until the minimum is accumulated.

Do you allow incentivized traffic?

No. This type of traffic is strictly prohibited and will lead to immediate account cancellation.

I want to use PayPal as my payment method. Do you charge a fee to use PayPal?

Hotkeys does not charge a fee to use PayPal, however PayPal may charge their own customers to accept PayPal payments. If you want a fee-free payment method the best method is to accept payments by check.

Are there any fees with these payouts?

No. We do not charge you any fees for payouts.

How is my revenue calculated?

Hotkeys revenue is based on the clicks and/or sales your domains generate.

What tax-related information do I need to submit to Hotkeys?

It is the responsibility of each client to understand and adhere to all applicable local, state, federal and or foreign tax laws. If you are approved to participate in our program, we are required by the U.S. IRS to collect certain information from you for tax purposes. Upon acceptance into our program, U.S. clients will be required to submit a completed IRS Form W-9. International clients will need to submit either a completed IRS Form W-8 or Certification of No U.S. Activities. If you are unsure of the appropriate form applicable to your situation, please contact a tax professional for advice.

How do I select the best domains for monetization?

Selecting a high traffic domain name has an enormous impact on how much revenue you earn. Use the following tips to guide your search process for new domains.

1. Short and sweet. Domains with fewer characters tend to garner more traffic. One-word and short phrase domains are best.
2. In demand. Think about the commercial potential of your domain. Is your idea a common search term? Who is interested in the associated subjects?
3. Clear apparent meaning. People should be able to guess what your domain name means. Put yourself in your site visitor’s shoes. What would you expect to find on the site? How do I register my account?

To register at Hotkeys you must submit an enrollment application from our Apply Now page. Once your application is received, an account manager will review your application and contact you regarding the status of your account. Once your account has been approved you will be notified via email and you may login and begin configuring your account settings.

How long does it take for approval?

Approval varies on a case by case basis. This depends on the size of your domain portfolio in most cases. Once reviewed, you will typically get a response within 48 hours from the time you submit your enrollment application. If you do not hear from us and you have questions regarding the status of your account you may contact us anytime.

I submitted my application but haven’t heard back. Why?

With numerous applications received a day, the most common reason applications are not approved is that applicants do not list their domains or describe any traffic or other metrics that help us decide whether to allow the names into our systems.
