SmartName’s Account Managers can set up brief tutorials for clients to demonstrate ideal set up of domains on SmartName, and explain domain optimization techniques. Below are examples of their three state-of-the-art monetization platforms:
1) Enhanced PPC: This is SmartName’s industry-leading PPC parking platform. It’s still the fastest and most efficient way to make money for domains that get direct type in traffic. It’s recommended to start here for at least 2 weeks to get a sense of how your portfolio will perform on SmartName. (The bulk of one’s portfolio generally monetizes best here) Example, pls contact us.
2) Instant Shops: This is our Ecommerce Platform. It’s designed for product/shop/store-related names. This platform is SEO-friendly, and you can insert your own affiliate code and collect 100% directly. This would be in addition to your revenue share with SmartName. This is not for every name, and should be used with discretion through targeted testing. Example, pls contact us. Be sure to insert 5 applicable product keywords, as this creates the navigation tabs across the top of the page.
3) Full Content: This is SmartName’s latest edition where partners can publish fully functioning SEO-friendly websites in seconds. It’s intended for news/info/topic-related names, and you can insert your own affiliate code and collect 100% directly. This would be in addition to your revenue share with SmartName. This platform is not for every name, and should be used with discretion through targeted testing. Example, pls contact us.
Regarding affiliate advertising, SmartName customers EARN 100% when using Instant Shops and/or Full Content solutions by inserting their own affiliate code. This code is inserted under the Advanced Options tab in the Ad Units section in your dashboard. Available ad sizes are 300X250, which will appear in the top right of Instant Shops and Full Content sites, and a 160X600 which will appear in the lower left of the Instant Shops. The header and footer sections of Instant Shops and Full Content can be used for additional ad space with a 468×60 ad.
